The Dr. Franjo Tuđman Defence and Security University is pleased to announce the international and multidisciplinary 2025 Defense and Security Conference (DSC 2025), which will be held in Zagreb on April 4–5, 2025.
The latest issue features analyses and research on modern military strategies, intelligence operations, and technological innovations in the defense sector.
You are holding the second issue of the Strategos journal for 2024. As the year draws to a close, the Strategos editorial team presents its readers with new and engaging articles, once again offering a wide range of topics.
You are holding the first edition of the Strategos journal for 2024, into which the editorial team and authors have invested a great deal of effort. This issue is being released slightly later than planned due to a change in ownership. The journal is now published by the University of Defence and Security “Dr. Franjo Tuđman” in collaboration with the Croatian Military Academy.
Dear readers, before you is the second edition of the Strategos journal in 2023. Another success has been achieved, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our editorial team and contributing authors. In this edition, we faced a diverse range of challenges in curating content. Once again, securing competent scholars as reviewers posed a challenge, but we successfully navigated through it.
The new issue of Strategos Journal is in front of you. Despite a series of challenges, this year's first edition was prepared on time and in the desired quality. Each editor and editorial board of a scientific journal faces different challenges. The first place is the quality of the scientific articles that the authors, as a result of their scientific and research work, offer to the professional public through scientific journals.
In this introduction, I’d like to introduce you to the latest issue of the Strategos journal. The editors have included several new and interesting scientific and professional works in this edition.
It is my great honour and pleasure to be appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief of Strategos – the Scientific Journal of the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Croatian Defence Academy. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Croatian Defence Academy for publishing this journal and entrusting me with this important responsibility. Since 2016, this journal has under this name been published continuously. We would like to thank the authors who published their papers, the previous members of the Editorial Board who collaborated competently and conscientiously on the material’s preparation, as well as the reviewers who assisted in selecting valuable papers, and, of course, the previous Editor-in- Chief and responsible editors.
